Build Your Culture was founded in early 2019 out of a shared frustration between two friends at a fire conference. It was based on the importance of keeping passion for our fire service alive. Culture is at the very core of everything we do and It is up to us to change the course and never accept the status quo as being adequate. We become what we accept, the culture we believe in, we MUST live! Leadership requires no rank, we shall take action where action is needed and must foster an environment built around accountability and growth.

Build Your Culture is dedicated to providing training that will make you a more intelligent, aggressive and effective firefighter both in and outside of the firehouse. We pride ourselves on realistic training that challenges our students to think outside of the norm which will enable them to make decisions that are backed by real world data and experiences.

We don’t claim to have all the answers when it comes to the fire ground or culture within organizations. However, we wish to share what we have learned over our careers about life in the firehouse, how to navigate certain challenges and how to become the best asset to your department while bringing others up with you. The mission is not about what we are fighting against, it’s what we are fighting for!
